Obstructive Pathology

The formation of lithiasis (stones) due to precipitation of saliva minerals or narrowing of the ducts due to inflammation, block the expulsion of saliva that accumulates in the gland causing inflammation, pain and risk of potentially serious complications.

Diagnosis: Direct examination by sialoendoscopy will allow us to diagnose and treat at the same time. On many occasions, ultrasound, CT or MRI scans will provide valuable information.
